MDI NetworX Appoints Margaret (Peggy) Smith as Chief Client Officer to Lead Client-Centric Strategy


BALTIMORE, MD March 27, 2025 – MDI NetworX, a leading provider of healthcare business management services, today announced the appointment of Margaret (Peggy) Smith as its new Chief Client Officer (CCO). In this newly created role, Peggy will be responsible for leading MDI NetworX’s future client strategy, ensuring it is deeply aligned with client needs and market trends. She will also spearhead the company’s recently announced Client Innovation Council, leveraging its insights to shape and guide MDI NetworX’s client-focused initiatives. 

Peggy Smith is a highly accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in operations and strategic development. For the past twenty years, she has served in senior operations roles at Johns Hopkins HealthCare, demonstrating a consistent track record of delivering results and driving impactful change within a complex healthcare environment. Prior to that she held leadership positions at Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield. Known for her results-oriented approach and broad business acumen, Peggy is highly skilled in innovating effective client strategies and solutions. She is adept at building and leading high-performing teams, excels at evaluating complex challenges, and is recognized for her collaborative approach in developing and implementing successful solutions across diverse stakeholder groups. 

As Chief Client Officer, Peggy will work closely with the MDI NetworX executive team to define and execute the company’s client agenda. A key focus will be on ensuring that future client initiatives are directly informed by and address the evolving needs of MDI NetworX’s clients. Spearheading the Client Innovation Council will be central to this effort, allowing Peggy to foster collaborative dialogues with client leaders and translate their insights into actionable client strategies.
